Why These Sources Matter
Leelanau County does not provide a public online jail roster or booking-photo feed. The Sheriff’s Corrections Division creates and keeps local jail records, MI-VINE can report some custody events, and Michigan courts hold the later case history. The Michigan Department of Corrections publishes OTIS profiles for state prisoners and people under state supervision, not for a fresh county booking. This site organizes those distinct official sources and explains the county FOIA path when a record or photo is not online. No booking image is copied or displayed here.
What the Reference Includes
The content follows the custody path while keeping each source in its proper role.

- Separate same-day, multi-day, and VINELink pages explain three different ways to check recent events.
- City pages describe Sheriff coverage and county booking routes for Suttons Bay, Northport, and Empire.
- Request instructions identify the Leelanau FOIA Coordinator and explain the county response process.
